Got a set of gridirons on preorder. Available june 7th. :-( once they come out I will likely never run proline again. Damn that's a bold statement. Lemme hold that thought. ;-)

Alan Burton,

I have signed up and paid for the open buggy class for the June 7th race but I am wondering if I signed up for the wrong one. By no means am I pro but I need to know what the difference would be between the open class and inter class. On rcsignup there are alot more inter racers than there are in the open class. Like I said, Im no pro but Im not a novice either. Am I entered into the right class or can it be changed to inter. if need be ? We usually have 2 classes instead of 3 at our track. I just want to be in the right place. Thanks, Lee

In my opinion if you can win at the club level races the the open is fine, i've never won an 'A' main club level race so i know i belong with the beginner's

I have won at our club races but honestly Im not sure if thats saying enough to run in the open so I may see about running intermediate if at all possible. Im hoping I can change it when I get there if need be. I surely dont wont to be where Im not supposed to be especially at an event like this one.

Roadracer it is easy to find from Childersburg... Get on 280 west go to hwy 55 take a left (go south), you will go past a new sub-division on the left, look for a dirt road on the right (Eggler Rd) turn right, first drive on the right.

The track is hard packed, very hard with great traction. I don't know if you run buggy or truggy, but I know alot of the guys are running holeshots on truggy's. I like the AKA cityblocks myself or cubics.

Quick note:

ModHobby will be there early on Friday with parts, tires, etc. If you need something, feel free to call or email it in before the weekend and we will pull it aside for you. I plan on having some killer deals on quite a few items. See you there.
