I bought this Speedmerchant Rev-5 LiPo roller off of a friend for $30, he didn't know what to do with it. I used what I had to get it working. Novak XRS ESC, old squeaky HPI 35T motor, 2x 1000MAh 2S ~5C batteries for a toy helicopter I got on sale for $2 each (running in parallel), custom tweak springs cut out of an old Grasshopper spring... It runs pretty good!
