How is Mini Coopers with 17.5 motors a class? That seems like a bad idea.

Snowy.

Snowy.

If you want to then go ahead. The class is structured that it can be raced with any sedan or mini cooper with a max motor of 17.5 for sportsman or beginners so they have a class to race. So that means if you have a VTA car with a 25.5 motor and want to run sportsman then go ahead...or if you have a Sedan with a 17.5 motor and want to run sportsman then you can....or if you have a mini cooper with a 21.5 or even 17.5 motor you can race it in sportsman. Its basically any sedan or mini cooper with no more than a 17.5 motor will be allowed in that class for beginners\sportsman.

17.5 minis will be a race of attrition. Whoever has the biggest peices left in their gearbox after a 6 minute main is the winner.

In the sportsman class it states sedan or Mini Cooper. Does it mean Tamiya mini FWD or can it be RWD? Do you have to run a Mini Cooper body? Thanks.

Either or is ok..as long as the body is made for the car its ok...ie you cant run a 190mm body on a mini cooper.

Kevin for the Minis maybe it should just say Mini Chasis (FWD or RWD) the Cooper might throw people off especially since that shell is nearly impossible to find now and there are so many different better bodies out there.

Just an idea to ease confusion.
