Slash Racing at Crandon TORC Race 6/26 & 6/27
 

Hello Racers, Traxxas is sending me out to Crandon again for some Slash Racing at the spring TORC race. Hopefully we can get a good turnout and do it again at the fall race too! I'm going to do a 1 hour 3 driver team race on Friday night. For Saturday we will sneak in 2 rounds of qualifying between TORC races Saturday afternoon, then take a break to watch the Pro classes tear up one of the best off road tracks on the planet! After the Pro racing is done we will run the mains. After they are complete, we will have the last man standing race! NO marshalls, just every man for himself! Last year it went almost a hour before we had a winner. I run a relaxed race program and really push hard to get as many kids to race as I can. So come out and enjoy a great weekend of R/C racing for the whole family and watching the best drivers in the world compete on the best track in the world! Here's some info for the R/C Races over the weekend,

Race schedule:

Friday:

Noon to 6 PM - Open track

6:00 PM - Sign up for 3 driver 1 hour Team race,

Each Team must have 3 drivers and one 2WD and one 4WD Slash

7:00 PM - Traxxas Slash R/C Team Race

Saturday:

8:00 AM to 10:30 AM - Open track

11:00 AM - Drivers meeting

11:30 AM - 2 Rounds of qualifying Begin

6:00 PM or after Pro Racing is complete on the big track we will run the R/C mains.


8:30 PM - Traxxas Slash last man standing race!


$20.00 per Team for Team race

$15 entry fee for first class on Saturday, $10 for each additional class entered.

Last man standing Race is FREE


Off Road Classes:

1) Sportsman - Beginner/ Youth class (Stock or Mod. 2WD or 4WD)

2) Pro-Lite - Stock Slash (2WD)

3) Pro-2 - Mod. Slash (2WD)

4) Pro-4 - Mod. Slash (4WD)

Trophies will be awarded for all off road classes
