We will be running Saturday! We will open at 8:00, open practice all morning and we will start racing at 1:00. We will run a shortened race program, 1 or 2 qualifiers and the mains. We have to test out some upgraded equipment in the booth. I don't expect problems but we have yet to try it out on an actual race day. Hopefully it will be a relaxed day to get a bunch of track time with some racing in the afternoon. Be sure and bring some lunch as we will not have any food for sale on site. We have decided the drivers stand needs to be wheelchair accessible, all money from Saturday will go towards funding the drivers stand upgrade.

This Saturday we will be working on the wheelchair ramp for the drivers stand. Anyone willing to help would be appreciated. Hopefully all will go smooth so we can get on the track for some practice when it is competed. We are going to add a bumped out section to the stand, ramp halfway down to a landing and ramp back down the rest of the way towards the stand.

Quite a bit of the driver stand work was done today. We will still have to put up the railing and a few other things but it shouldn't take more than a few hours. That being said we will be racing tomorrow with a tentative start time of 1:00. Again all proceeds from this race will go towards the drivers stand addition/ramp.

If the rain stays away we will start racing at 11:00. We have had some rain each day this week but so far the track is holding up well. I will post an update if anything changes.

Running two or three qualifiers? I ask cause if it's only two then I might not bother coming out cause I'll be there a bit after 11 and will probably miss the first qualifier.

More than likely we will run 3 qualifiers. We will all discuss it at the drivers meeting and the final decision will be made then. We are throwing around the idea of doing more head to head racing with actually racing into the mains, more like motocross.

As in there's a possibility of NOT making the mains? Dunno if I like that idea....

That's not it at all. Everyone would still run mains with bump ups but determining what main you are in depends how you finish in your heads up qualifying races. Again at this point it is something we are discussing.

Aaahh, ok, I gotcha now. Just heads up qualifying instead of everyone is on their own clocks.
