I found some tires to fit the old school JRX2 rims. They're actually tires for a Losi Mini LST part#LOSB0982, I just need to scrub them in and they should work ok for one race a year.

I might have some barcodes for you, I don't think those you have on there will work not hating just saying.

Thanks Victor, but the MLST Tires are a good compromise between 1990 and 2015.

Reading through the thread I see vintage described as both pre XX and pre XXX Losi buggies. That confused me a bit so would my Losi XX buggy be legal?

Yes that is fine we try to keep it pre 1997, the xx and rc10b2-3 fall into that. I think the xxx and b4 are too modern, actually I raced a xx cr 4 yrs ago.

Any chance we can get the track opened up at 8 on Saturday? With a larger crowd and fairly new layout it'll be good to get to get a little extra track time, plus it'll give people a little more time to get the pit situation sorted out if were packed in there.

Default Smackdown week!

Awards are on the way and giveaways are here. We are only 5 days away from the Spring Smackdown!!! Tracks starting to groove up let's get a good turn out Wednesday to make sure its good for saturday. We should have a nice mix of racers we have friends coming from from the north and south. Show your support, this will be a good one to finish indoor season.

Joey coco did you find our trophy girl yet?

I doubt it. If doors opened earlier, I'd want to race earlier as well. 3 hours of practice is a pretty good amount of time.

I would have to agree with Shagino ok this, 4 hours is a long time. If it gets out of hand well do controlled practice. I know a lot of guys are planning on going friday night as well.

Default Smackdown week!

Smackdown warm up Wednesday tonight. Track is firming up and taking rubber Now. Bring out those buggies and trucks. Should be a good one tonight.

Fyi, for those coming a day early friday. Track opens at noon, also please limit your space. The spots are taped off.

Yeah buddy! Don't think I'll be running four classes though, unless there's at least 15 heats. Sorry I've been ghost this past week. With those storms last Thursday and Friday I had a pretty crazy weekend at work. I might have a surprise with me too...

Another Spring Smack down is in the books and it was a great one. Thanks to all the racers that joined us today and to the sponsor's that supported today's race, Serpent, JConcepts, Tekin, and Revolve workstation.
And a special thanks to Victor Vasquez for all the hard work putting it all together.
