I am hoping I can get a fill in for me for corner marshalling during this race. See , I just had both knees replaced. I can get around, at a slow pace, but I am no where near being agile enough to marshall. I want to run e buggy and 4x4 sct. So I would need someone not running either classes so they could go the marshalling for me. I am willing to pay the entry fee for the first vehicle this volunteer is going to race. Please let me know. After 5 weeks of no racing, Im looking forward to getting back on the track. Chuck

Can't wait! I have one buggy to take apart to make one good short course and get my truck ready. There will be another Elliott Challenge this year, depending on turn out.

In the previous years, we have. I let Matt or Tim answer that one.

As a reminder for Friday and Saturday. Please park in two rows, where the row closest to the drivers stand will have enough room for a truck/camper to drive through and the back row has enough room to drive between the tents and the soybean field. Campers and trailers please park in the field to the left of the track. Please do not run air compressors off the house electrical system, this causes the breaker to trip, if using an air compressor, please run it off a generator. It your responsibility to marshal the race following yours, if you cannot for whatever reason, you have to find a replacement. We had a few problems with this. Also HAVE FUN! I hope this will be as good if not better than the previous years.

Unfortunately I decided to merge the classes this year and run all nitro buggies together and all nitro truggies together. To accommodate I made up some badass medals and we will be awarding medals to the top 3 in all lower mains in addition to the top 5 getting awards in the a mains. With the Ebuggy class blowing up the nitro classes seem to be taking a little bit of a hit and the turnouts have declined. This is going to speed up the race program and keep everyone honest. Thanks for understanding!

-Matt

Wise idea Matt. It makes for a shorter race program.

There are some storms coming through Sun Prairie right now. Everything on the radar looks to be east of us.

Here is a weather update: All of the heavy storms missed us. We only had some light rain which has now stopped. I just came in from the track and it is not any wetter than it would of been if we had watered it tonight. The track will be in great shape for tomorrow! Track opens at 7:00 for practice, please register before you head out to practice. It should be a great day! See you all in the morning! Tim
