As a reminder, our last race of the year will be September 27th, it is also the point series final.
Also, if you have borrowed a personal transponder, please return it. We always like to help out fellow racers and new comers, but if they do not get returned, will not have them to lend out.
It is has been another great year of racing. I want to thank everyone that came out to race, everyone that volunteered to marshal, of course Tim, Annette, Matt, Cheryl, Ryan, and the weather for semi cooperating.

Hey Everybody, non-R/C related post here-
This weekend, right up the street from Clark R/C park at Trek HQ in Waterloo there will be a double header of Professional Cyclocross racing. The best riders in the country will be here to race in the afternoon with Women's Pro starting @ 3:30pm and Men's Pro starting @ 4:30 pm. These races are short, 40 minutes for women, 1hr. for men and the course is short enough that it's really easy to watch.
There is a festival like atmosphere with stuff for kids to do (bouncy house, mini course) and beer & food. The event is FREE to attend (food & beer is reasonably priced, bike racers are generally poor).
If you're nearby and are looking to see something really interesting, head on over. Any and all are welcome. If you're really bored, you can come early for the amateur races and watch me get slaughtered @ 12:20 by a bunch of recently retired pros in the Master's 35+ race.

Here is the schedule for our last week of racing for 2014! On Thursday we will have practice from 2 until dark. On Friday we will have practice from 2 until? Camping will also be allowed on Friday night. On Saturday we will have practice until 12:30, racing will start at 1:00 and will be finishing under the lights. After racing we will be giving out our "Summer Points Series" awards. The weather looks to be great so lets finish the year off in style!
