Racing was a lot of fun tonight! We were down on numbers tonight because of snow and the big race at track side. We had a full field of 1/8th scale, sct and Good numbers in street stock.
Sprint foam only had Shawn, Kevin, and. Myself. The drama in our class was could Shawn three-peat , could Kevin get his new gen6 up to speed, and with a full race day could I run competitively... Well Shawn did three-peat with a strong 60 lap a main win! I finished my personal best with a 59, and the G dog was a close third! (Not bad for a completely new chassis. Kevin smoked a "kill shot" motor in heat 3, it went up in flames...).
The track was pretty consistent all night, and we were done just after 9:00! I don't have the results from the other classes (sorry) but I did marshal the 1/8 scale class and they had a very good race. That's all I know for now, peace out...

I forgot to mention what a great job Darren and all the computer guys did in Ryan's absense. It's a big undertaken and they pulled it off with out any major issues! It's good to know that Ryan and his family can take a much needed break and it's business as usual. Excellent job!

without going into detail, I had the laptop hooked up in the garage all weekend listening to live r/c.

Proud to say, I race with them Monroe fellas. Rubber sprint was stacked with Monroe locals, heard someone built a car over night and threw it down in foam.

CCX racers we proved how strong our racers are this weekend by going down to the Limestone 14 big race and putting 3 in the a main and 3 in the B main. This was against some of the fastest team drivers. All 6 of us were with in a lap of each other and Andy had the best luck in the Amain, he was 15 foot away from wining the race. Cook qualified 3rd overall just a tick away from Dustin M. hyperdrives team driver. Great job guys!
We need to have a little sit down to talk about our big race coming up next month. After going down to Limestone race way and seeing there "field of dreams" track we need to step up our game and get track back in shape again.
How about a meeting/practice/track prep this Wednesday night? What do you think Ryan will that work, or another night? What do you guys think? We need as many people as possible to pull this race off!
