Its about that time of year again to start gearing up for the AA series. This year Eric Whiteside unfortunately will not be able to run the series so Aric Werstein & I will be organizing all the races.

As of right now Aric and I are going over option's,sponsors & venue's and we hope to have everything finalized by the end of March.

Both Aric & I hope to see you all back out to race with us and we will do our best to make it the best year yet!

Thank You,

Hear Hear! This has been a great series and it would be a shame to let it go. Even if it was condensed down to just three races it would be worth it. Hope I can attend.

Question for racer's planning on attending. Would it be beneficial to most of us to have 2 separate 17.5 TC classes?

For example:
17.5 TC blinky(No sponsored drivers allowed)
17.5 TC blinky Pro stock(open to all racers sponsored or not) or
10.5 TC BLINKY Pro Stock?

Potentially, if you are not sponsored, you could race two separate TC classes at each event

Let me know

I think leaving it the way it was is better. Adding another class will just add more time to the day.

If your concerned about sponsored racers (usually better) racing with unsponsored racers (not as good), this can be solved by having a resort after the first round.

P. S. Leisure announced a 6 race series at their track. Hopefully the AA series won't have conflicting dates.

P.P.S. Will the Trinity D3.5 17.5 motor be allowed ? (not that I use one, I'm just curious)

I think you would be creating more work. Now I know most of us know who is sponsored but you could do a trophy for top privateer like they do in motocross. They award top privateers. So I think you could run all of us together and do a sperate award etc. I'm sure that some of the regular un sponsored's would like to fight for the title.

I think you are just diluting the pool of racers for the class by segregating them out. It's hard to define how good a sponsored racer is and at what level they are sponsored. Plus, if you just keep the best drivers out of a class it doesn't leave a goal for the others to shoot for.

One 17.5 class is good.

Barry - SCT is so 2000's. Time to move on to 1/10th scale 4WD mod Rally cars.

Hello racer's,

Waiting on confirmation from 2 of the shops hosting a race this summer. Thanks for you patience.

Spec tire's for both the TC and USGT classes will be the Solaris hard pre-mount's that we have used for the past couple years.

Thanks,
Brian
