Oshkosh Off-road Track
We are planning to run a every other week program this year at a new site in Oshkosh. I am looking for track personal and possible race directors to help with this. Just about everything is a go except the schedule which will be hammered out soon. I am hoping to run everything from 1/10th electric to 1/5th scale gas if possible. I have ideas for a convertible track to make it fun for all scales. If you are interested in helping PM me your name location and phone number.

This place has everything in place except the track. Water, electricity, clean rock free surface, parking and a temp drivers stand.
#3
Where is the new track going to be located?
#4
in town of Oshkosh, right on edge of town

Due to a few hiccups like a couple horse events, I am shooting for 2nd week in June for track set-up and after June we should be able to hold to a every other week schedule.

We will have a fun day to test the scoring on Saturday June 15th weather permitting. We will try to get started by 12 noon. $5 donation expected for the farm. We are unsure of future days as we are trying to get the lighting up and running for night racing! 2561 Vinland St Oshkosh, WI 54901

I forgot to mention that this is also a private residence and practice is only on race days or work days. If you'd like to help pm or message me.
If we can get lighting working we will be doing Wednesday or Thursday racing

Greetings everyone.
For anyone planning to come out Saturday to the New Outdoor track, I will post on Facebook and R/C Tech by 10:30 if rain has changed our plans.
Second, to get there (Bob posted the address), but please use the northern driveway. There are three arena’s there, we are the center one, but field parking is on the north side of the north arena.
Its possible to drive closer to unload or load, but parking will be in this area. There is power there and as mentioned, we are working on power and lighting close to the track and will update all as that matures.
Thanks all, just remember, whatever you bring in (wrappers, cans, kids) you have to take with you when you leave.

Practice is on, the rain dodged us and the track looks fun. Racers are funneling in and the lap times are about thirty seconds. It's big! We will be here to about five today. testing and possibly running.

Went out to the track today to work on lights. Looked awesome after a night of heavy rain. can't wait to run the nitro again on Wednesday night.

Alright everyone, the off road track in Oshkosh has been tested and ready for a real run Wednesday night. Runs will start at 7 and we will go until dark or if the electrician has good luck, under the lights.
Be there by 6:45 to register. Bring race fees in cash as I will not have any way to take credit out there (or pay at one of the tracks and bring a receipt). Remember to unload in the race area and put cars in the parking area to the north. No early practice, again this is a private spot.
Come on out, weather should be clear and the track is a blast.
