Default 2013 Midwest Electric Series!

Welcome to the 2013 Midwest Electric Series thread!

Gary and I are getting started on setting up this summer series and had a few favors to ask. We would like all you series racers to generate a list of tracks you would like to race at the summer by December 8th.

Gary and I will go through that list and find the top 10 tracks we feel best that can run our series races. December 10th we will create a poll with those top 10 and have you racers then decide the top 6 tracks for each of our rounds.

Gary and I can’t guaranty that the top 6 will be chosen, but we will strongly work with each track owner on getting them setup for our series. It all depends on their schedule and ours. We also ask you keep in mind that we want tracks with lights, electric and clean/well organized race program. We do understand some tracks don’t have light and we will work with them if need be.

Have fun guys! See you all this summer!!

Clark RC Park in Reeseville, Wi. Great surface for 1/10 electric racing, good size track (not too big).

Cheese City in Monroe.

ThunderRoad hobby's in Moline Illinios its been a very good track for the m.w.n.s. and would also be for the electric series as well, everything that a racer needs is offerd there.

Well stocked hobby shop onsite
Friendly owner and staff
Well lighted for night racing
Well maintained track
Motels close
Camping offerd
Food close
Close to interstate for driving

Past performance's of the track speaks for it self.

DEFINATELY Clark in Reeseville, Wi. A must to be in the schedule. Perfect track and owner to run one of these.

Can see if Timewarp would be interested (hobbytown in Lake In The Hills), they have a outdoor carpet offroad track. Kind of give it a European flare to the series. They also offer AC pits, great staff, light's for night racing and one of the best stocked hobbyshop's in the area.

RaceEm is my home track but we did race at H2 last summer. I believe it is now under new owners.

It has always been pleasure for us to host a Midwest nitro race over the years. Most of you know the track. Clay based that requires very little water, plenty of parking, hobby shop, free camping, concessions, free give aways. The track is big so we would be willing to change the layout for 1/10 scale if need be. I think all of the tracks listed are good. Good luck with the series.

I dont see a need to make any tracks smaller for 10th scale. I enjoy dropping in my 4.6 and stretch its legs. Something we up here dont get to do on the smaller indoor tracks during the cold months.

HobbyPlex in Omaha Nebraska has an awesome track and yes it is huge. Great track for any large event. Always worth the drive.
