They run in mod SCT.

There has to be a mini cooper class for on road, right?

I saw a post on the condition of the track for certain classes in a different thread. I would love to help again this year but were heading up nort to the U.P. to support my cousin who has been fighting a loosing battle with cancer and to put some miles on the ATVs.
I'm sure Corry, Byron and Ken would appreciate all the help they could get building the track after the onroad/ parking lot race. The more people that help in the short build time the better the track will be.
I wanted to race and help but were leaving Sat the 18 th - 26TH. I told Angela shed have to wait but that was a negative .

OK, Let's get ready to race! Remember that ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT THE LIONS CLUB who uses the funds to help local vision impaired children. Plus St. Charles Hobbytown USA kicks in a bit extra (past years they have matched the total entry fees). Besides the great racing, this should be enough reason to show up.

New this year is a HTUSA booth at the fair. They will bring some batteries and parts for the racers. Please support them and the cause.

This is a great race to bring the family. If they are bored, they can check out the rest of the carnival, rides, booths, bands, tractor pulls (Saturday), mud volleyball (Sunday), food tents and beer tents. Check out http://elburnlions.com/elburn-days and click on "Elburn Days" for a complete list of activities

Location:
500 South Filmore street
Elburn, Illinois 60019
Just off RT 47 in Elburn (about 5 miles west of St. Charles).

Bring your tents, table, chair and extension cord for pitting. For race information, call Hobby Town at 630-587-1256 and talk to
Byron or Corey.

Did you forget to include the Tamiya M-chassis and 1/16 Rally classes in the OP or are you limiting the classes in the on-road race this year? Seems in the past those classes have been pretty reliable.

yup the track will be all of the above hard in spots loose in spots and clumpy to start and at the end of the day it could be all hard. The track is in the truck area so the middle may be hard and the out sides may be loose.
