Just curious.... will anyone be racing Friday night at Trackside with a big race going on for Saturday???

I'll be in town Friday 8/10 and only able to race Friday.

Just want to know if will be worth my 1hr drive or if it will be alow turn-out with Saturdays race

Chris

Theres a pretty steady show of racers at Trackside on Friday nights. Even when theres a big race the next day. I think that answers your question. Friday night at Clark (where the big race is on saturday) is practice only till 8pm.

Last couple Fridays while watching LiveRC it looked low, only 3-4 in 4x4 Corr

Thats not bad considering most 4x4 sct go racing outdoor for the summer around here. I didnt know what class you were asking about.

Can you spot yours? ^^

The plaques look great! Will there be changes to the layout for this race?

tcflyr 07-27-2012 04:37 PM

Yes the track will be changed somewhat, not a total change but enough to make it an even field come race day.

rcracenut 07-31-2012 07:06 PM

Only a little over a week away. Looking forward to the fun!;)

Tim, Can you tell me what the guys are running on their four wheel drive Shortcourse trucks for tires, and also what are the eight scale buggy guys running for tires?

tcflyr 08-01-2012 05:23 PM

Hopefully we can get some guys that run those classes to post. I do think the track will change quite a bit throughout the day. So I don't think there will be one tire choice for all day. The track will be a little loamy early until we get a groove in it.

rcracenut 08-01-2012 05:39 PM

Enduros are a popular tire for 4x4.

Happy Birthday Tim!

With the Enduro's, are you guys using the soft, or the super soft?
