Default St. Charles HobbyTown USA 2012 Racing Season

Hey Racers.
So if you haven't visited the store lately we have moved from 3627 E. Main St. to 2061A Lincoln Highway in St. Charles. So we have just finalized the racing schedule for the 2012 season.

The Dates:
April 28- There is no racing but the track will be set up for practicing, its a Test 'N tune Day
May 5
May 12- We will be at the St. Charles East High School
June 2
June 16
June 30
July 14
July 28
Aug 11
Aug 18- Will be our On-road Race at Elburn Days
Aug 19- Will be our Charity Off-road Race at Elburn Days
Sept 8
Sept 22
Sept 29- Will be our Awards Party

Classes:
Stock SCT
Open SCT
Traxxas Rally Cars
VTA-25.5 no Boost
Stock Touring-17.5 no Boost
Off-road
Mini- Tamiya Mini's, and 1/18 scale
Juniors-open to all vehicles

i know at least 3 people that want to race vta this year. i want to race mini cooper too. can you get the smooth parking lot again?

yes we will be in the smoth part of the new parking lot, i cant wait for mini class and Vta hopefully its a great racing season and hope to see you all there

So each of those dates there will be something going on or just the ones with events after them? Looking for some VTA this year.

yes, without the events listed, those are the race dates to be held at the hobby shop parking lot.

This just ain't right

my 3s bl 18t got a new rally car body. it would be better suited to race with the traxxas rallys than the mini coopers.

How big is this rally class? I have a Tamiya DF03RA with a 13.5 & a Novak GTB. Might have to put the tekin in to keep up with those Traxxis ralleys though.

The rally cars last year were the 1/16 Traxxas cars.
