Jconcepts Spring 1:8 Nationals - May 25-27 Omaha, NE
The Jconcepts Spring National is back and better than ever.
This will be the first year inside the new nitro friendly Hobbyplex offroad 2.0. 16 garage doors surround our 15,000 square foot building, providing plenty of ventilation and maintaining the outdoor feel while guaranteeing the race. No more rainouts! Jason Ruona will be back, as well as the midwest's best 1/8th scale racers. Should be another great race at the Plex. I have Jason entered and we are looking forward to it. Easy drive from southern Wisconsin. About six hours for us all freeway. If you have not been to this facility you owe it to yourself to make a race there. Well worth the trip.

The best part about our place is that even though its technically indoors, with the sides all open, it feels like it outside and the fumes are all but non-existent. There is a campground at Cunningham Lake, which is about 10-minutes away, but they sell out quick, especially since its Memorial Day weekend. |
We've just got done adding another six feet to our pit lane and put up the working pit. We also just got a better antenna for our FM transmitter. Things are really coming together for this race.
There's already 60 entries signed up and we're two months out. If anyone wants to make the trip for a warm up race, the North Division RC Pro Series round 1 race is April 20-22. Hopefully I'll have some current pics after this weekends opening 1:8 Summer Series race. |
I got an e-mail today from Jason Ruona. Associated/Jconcepts driver Tanner Denney will be in attendance.

I need to make an educated guess on how many lower main plaques there are when I order the awards. If you're planning on making the trip, help me out and get on rcsignup.com tonight and enter the race.
Sign up will stay open until the day of the race, I just don't want to be short on lower main plaques.:D |
