Default 1st Annual Grill Out - Shootout

GRILL OUT-SHOOTOUT AT R/C RACEWAY!
Sunday, Sept. 18

You’re invited to the 1st Annual Grill Out-Shootout to be run on a brand new track layout at R/C Raceway on Sunday September 18th. We will have a grill at the track and will be serving burgers, hotdogs and brats with all the trimmings along with chips and drinks to each driver that enters the event. In addition to the food, each registered driver will receive a free full day practice pass good for any non-race day!

The track will be open for practice at 9am and we will start the first round of racing at 11am. Get there early to get some practice! We promise this will be a track unlike you've ever driven before!!! We will take a break for lunch after the 1st and 2nd rounds of qualifying and finish things off with the final round of qualifying and then the Mains.

For all you Chicago Bears fans, we are planning on having a TV set up by the pit area for the Bears season opener so you won't miss any of the action (or at the VERY least air it live on the radio). So save the date! Come on out and check out the new track, have some fun with a little racing and have some free food on us!

Admission:

1st entry: $15

Each additional entry: $10

Classes (3 car minimum to form a class):

2WD Short Course Truck (Stock)

2WD Short Course Truck (Mod)

4WD Short Course Truck (Mod)

4WD Buggy (Mod)

Schedule:

9:00-10:45 Registration & Open Practice

11:00 Racing Begins

Hope to see everyone there!

Not to good of an idea U will break shock towers if you dont run a body. might as well buy a new body or you will be buying new shock towers for it anyways.

Mine doesn't even have shocks it's a Tamiya lunchbox chassis withthe stock springs but I think I'll make a cardboard body for it because I don't want so spend another penny on this truck for a while

I have a ford taurus pan car body that you can have. Sure it's not right for the good 'ol box, but you can cut it up and maybe make it work. its new and never been cut or painted (and free)
