Marshland Raceway near Peoria, IL 9-10-11
 

We will be holding a race at our track on 9-10-11. We will have three classes which will include: nitro buggy, nitro truggy, and shortcourse. We only are running three classes because we dont have lights and need to get it done before dark. Food will be available at the track. Track will open for practice at 8:00am and races will start at 10:00am. *No house transponders will be available.*

Yes u can run eTruggys & eBuggys,

whats electricity availability like, is there room for trailers ????

how much are race fees for 1st 2nd and 3rd class

track is Built on 5 acers. Plenty of parkin 4 trailers, & electricity on site

$15 for the 1st class,
$10 for the 2nd class,
$5 for the 3rd class,

how often do you guys race at this track would be a good 2nd track to go too as i am only about a mile from RJD but i like to run different tracks too

This will be our first race so we will see how it goes. The track is 220ft wide x 100 deep the track flows nice dirt we have water. I will have video soon.

dont see much room for trailers i heard it is kinda tight getting into the track from the road my trailer is 8 foot wide and 20 foot long

No there is more room than it looks up by the house and your trailer will fit just fine.

That's got to be one of the most tamest tracks you've ever had.

Rick there is alot more room then it looks like.

:rolleyes: didnt figure most people would want to race on one of our regular layouts ;) They are good for learning and self discipline but for most they are a bit much for a race and just having fun.

If weather permits i will be there running short course 4x4 cant wait

There has not been hardly any rain so far and this track can take a TON of rain and we can run 1 hour later !

I hope everybody had as much fun as I did ! The track stayed great all day with not a drop of rain and some good close racing. Thanks to Nelson and crew for all the hard work to make it happen and thanks to everyone that came to race.

Track looks awesome, especially being in someones back yard, nice job. When ever we are back that way again we will have to stop in.

Next Race Oct 14th track opens at 7:00 for Electric 8:30 for nitro. Nitro buggy truggy electric 10th scale 2 & 4 wheel buggy short course 1/8 electric buggy & truggy practice Friday that night bon-fire, weenie roast, and beverages.

well hopefully I can make this one....no work that day so far :)

The race on Oct 15th is now a fun day the person with the lap counter had a emergency so come drive all day and then we are having a bonfire so hope to see you all here.
