There's been a few over the years, slot and wing(old and newer), rc shack and glitchers in mahomet. Not really sure why nothing really hung around though.

The closest tracks I know of to you are JTEC in Tilton, RJDs in Lincoln, and Big Bills Raceway in Broadwell.

The Rcshack racers were going to LCJ. Maybe check with one of them to find a track.

JTEC closed end of last season, but the tracks in our area are as follow:

Dirt Works - Decator (Offroad)
RJD - Lincoln (Offroad)
LJC - Pekin (Offroad & Soon To Be Oval)
Big Bills (Oval)

Those are the ones I know of. I have made RJD my home track for this season. Great people and great comp. The guys over at Dirt Works are great as well. If you are into Oval as I was last summer Big Bills is a great track as well. I have not made it over to LJC yet, but hear they are having alot of fun there as well.

why not ask Tower or Horizon to support a local track? Pretty sure I know the answer from them as well as Hobbyking, Stormer and A-main. Almost every track out there has some backing and support from a local hobbyshop.
Keep this in mind when thinking of buying and buy from your local hobbyshop.

Not completely true;

But it is a good thing to support your local hobbyshop, especially if they are spending their money to provide an r/c racetrack.

We (Horizon Hobby) have a small track in Monticello at Eli Field, but there's nothing there for organized racing at this time.

There's also Allen's in Rochester/Springfield too.
