Default Anyone going to the HPI Challenge?

I just wanted to know can I plan on seeing any MARCCA people at the Chicago HPI Challenge? I'll be racing 1/10th scale Pro Sedan, possibly Rally and Nitro Stock.

This is TVRTuscan from the HPI forums.

Good to know there'll be someone I've probably met before there.

You might know me as Desmond, the kid who used to race stadium trucks. Hah. Haven't touched mine in quite a while. About 3 years ago, I acquired a so-called RS4 Pro. Last week I found out that I had been jipped, and the car was a converted 3-belt RS4. It's only 180mm. But no matter. I blew in excess of $300 on hop-ups, and it runs great. Still need to convert the suspension though.

Look for a Red and White Nissan Silvia body. It'll be in the Electric Open class. And TSR6, what's your real name? Will you be at MARCCA tomorrow morning for Elec sedans (did you ever get that Pro 2?) And how long of a drive is it from Roscoe?

Hey, Glad you saw my message.

I have no clue what body ill be running. Its a Camaro.. i started painting it, but i dont know if im happy with it.

As far as MARCCA goes... no sedans on sunday.. Check out the other threads within the marcca forum for the schedule. It's the locked one at the top that was posted by Futureal that has the schedule.

Here's pics of the body. Sorry about the quality but the red is a bright red and the silver looking stuff is white. Oh and how old are you TSR6?

Cool car.. I guess i should start getting mine ready.. I need to get some tires too. I don't have any 'good' HPI tires at the moment... just one set of X-patterns... which are no good

I'm 17.

Get the HPI Advan tires. They have great grip and should last a while also. They are quite expensive though ($15 for 2) and that's without inserts! Here is what I'm running in my RS4 Pro.

Trinity Chameleon 2 Pro motor
Novak Dually ESC
HPI Advan Tires
Medium/Soft molded inserts

The Chameleon, when geared right, is perfect for the HPI track. You also do not have to cut the comm every 2 runs. What'll you be running in your Pro 2?

Micro Stock and Micro Pro Exhibition classes.

i think that the "exhibition" means that its not a major class... you won't be invited to the finals at the end of the year. I dont know if you get bodies or not. You would have to ask Frank... I read it somewhere on HPI's site once...
