Default Thanksgiving Week Schedule

Is the track going to be open next week for practice on Tuesday? I am planning on coming down for a few practice laps with the SC10.

I would think it would be open on tuesday since he will be closed on thursday for Thanksgiving. Have you raced your SC10 yet? My son has one that we have ran a few laps on the track with...he has the brushless RTR and the only thing we have done to it was change the rear tires. They still aren't the right ones for the clay surface, but they were better than stock.

I had the SC10 out early this summer once at a local park district track that isn't maintained. My first and only race was at Outback R/C this fall. I am running the 2.4GHz Rockstar Makita RTR version (as seen in my avatar) basically box stock. NiMH batteries, brushed motors, the RC stone ages!

I am planning on heading to this track on Tuesday to get some laps in with it. I have a few days of vacation next week besides the holiday and after the day at Outback I am itching to get the truck on the track again. What tires did you use, besides the stock ones, that weren't hooked up? I was thinking about picking up a set of rears but don't know where to begin.

Craig,
These should work...they look just like the ones I just bought for my 1/8 buggy. I will end up trying these also.

I am mostly a nitro guy, but I did stop in there on sunday (I live 1.5 miles away) and there was a good turnout of guys. I seen some buggy, I know of a few guys that have 4 wheelers and a bunch of SC trucks. The track is perfect size for both nitro and electric. Bring some clay compound tires and hit the track...you will be happy. Great track and great owner.

Jonski, I don't see what "these" are in your post, did you mean to post a pic or a link?!

Panther makes a clay switch for sc as well. That seems to be a popular tire.

See all the nitro peoples tomorrow.

Thanks guys, will see if I can track down a pair of either the Pro-Line Suburbs, Panther Switches or JConcepts Gold Barcodes before Tuesday.

Have a great weekend!
