Default newbie question: places to race on road in Illinois

Hey guys,

I'm new to rc car racing. Could you tell me what are my options as far as tracks for on road racing.

I know there is one track at Harbor Hobbies but the question is if there are any other places within an hour from Chicago.

I guess my other option would be to get into off road but right now I'm interested in on road....

There's Underground @ 54th and State in Chicago. http://undergroundrcracetrack.com/forum/index.php

And that's about it within 1 hour.

Now there's Jtec Loft in Danville IL (about 2.5 hours).

Leisurehoursraceway.com They have a phenomenal on road track for summer, but they mostly cater to the offroad guys.
