Ok, with the 108 spur go with a 47 tooth pinion gear, that comes up with a 4.205 final drive. With the 118 spur go with a 51 tooth pinion gear, that comes up with a 4.23 final drive. This is the maximum you could go with. I would start at 2 teeth below the list pinion gears first and see what kind of speed you have, then go up or down if needed. I don't think alot of us were running at the maximum final drive.
I hope this helps.
Dave

So will we see you on the dirt oval?

Won't be able to make it because I'll be in an airplane heading west. I'm just ready to move on and get used to driving an SC. I'm excited Trackside is still going to be open

Dave thanks for the help on the gearing. Yes I would plan on running the dirt oval with my limited latemodel if they would schedule for the weekends, worknites are alittle hard for me. Any idea when he will switch and start running dirt oval?

I am very sorry Brian that you cannot make it. It will not be the same without you for the race. I hope we get a good turnout to help close out an era!

You guys could not imagine how difficult of a decision this was for me to make. All of you guys that know me, know where my love of racing is and that is on road. All the awards I have earned in my RC career have been from on road so it makes me the most sad to have to do this, but it is what I have to do.

So I hope everyone can join us next Sunday for a fun day on the rug.

Hope to see you guys there.
Scotty

So,

Next Sunday I'm thinking F-1, Trans-AM, 13.5 and 17.5 sedan. What a wonderfull day it SHALL be........

Any Silver Can?

Maybe some practice on Monday...

Scotty, you know I love ya man. Let's make this day of fond memories and of BRIGHT futures!

Dirt Oval is where it began for me at Trackside. Dirt Oval is where it will be in the near future.

I'm thinking the old sedans will make GREAT Dirt Oval cars ! Stay tuned, classes will rise up from the carpet and transition to the dirt oval.
Spec motors ?,
Spec Body styles ?,
2wd ?,
4wd ?,
the sky IS the limit!

Oh Ya, and don't forget RALLY CARS!!!!!

Wish we could make it for the final run, but Nathan's graduation is this weekend with plans already made.

Wish I could make it, already made plans that weekend. Wasn't expecting the Sizzler or the final carpet race to come so early in the summer. Sure will miss the carpet.
