Well I know of at least 3 or 4 others that will be there for this. We are REALLY trying to use this race as a chance to get a class going. It is really taking off elsewhere and is a BLAST. I cant see Bernie not putting a class together for us if enough show. If not I would hope he would let us run mod even if it's just for bragging rights.

Just a little tip. If you want sc 4x4 to be a class in the Chi-town you need to organize and get the class going before then. They will not make trophies for a class that has yet to be a class at leisure hours.

OK guys...I will say this one more time...

We would love to have a 4x4 SC class at the Checkpoint race...please bring them out...as many as you can and you will have your own class. Not sure how else to say it...

You will need at least five trucks to make a class...

If you guys are that confident, go ahead and pre-register for the 4x4 SC class and get things started.

Sorry to come off rude, but we have heard this same story SO many times...

...just for the record, I'm all for a 4x4 SC class...because we will be racing one!

There is no "stock" sc class. Just open and the slash guys. But in general, no converted hubs for 1/8th scale tires , no wings in the open class(and hopefully no 4x4's....they should have their own class). As far as the slash...someone else can inform you....don't race it so I don't know.

Tires: round ones.

The dates for the checkpoint race are march 6th and 7th.
It's in the title of the thread you posted the question in.
