Default Great racing Tuesday at the Mighty Victory Hobbies

Nice car count on Tuesday: (11) sliders, 10+ trucks and our kids and me dueling it out in SCT oval. The 1/10 Losi Slider class was stout for the night with 62 laps plus required just to get in to the a main.

Thanks to Jim "Mr." Courtney and Lee for the help. The kids loved racing you Jim. Better luck next time.... It was good seeing you back my friend!

Looking forward to Black Friday Race. I actually get to focus on ONE car that day. Whoo, what will I do with the extra time??????

Hopefully another strong 1/10 Losi Slider LEGION will show for the event.

Thomas

Hey "Mr. C" that was a beautiful paintjob on the 1/10 Losi Slider! I cried a little (deep down inside) when I saw the way those other LEGION members treated that beautiful ride in the feature. Should have just rolled over and let you win on sheer good looks alone.

And did I mention F.A.S.T. ! How do you get that thing planted and moving like that???

I'm back to the drawing board since I couldn't get the #27s SuperClean car to turn left well enough. Tried to take my usual position of running the high line and waving as you, Don, Dennis, Brian, John, Buddy, and my mother-in-law drive by below me. (Actually, I love my mother-in-law, great person, honest - My mom...different story completely.)

Thanks Thomas. I find that running my "usual"paint scheme is always faster. There's just something about those 2 colors. Qualifying was intense 4 sure, & that went well for me, but the main was a different story.Good racin' tho. Hope to see the same crowd next week. Just an idea Thomas, but maybe if you left a little dirt on your car, the handle will come back. LOL

Yeah, well I sorta got to liking hearing people talk about the SuperClean car on the track - ego thing and all that---you know. Yeah when I hear them saying things like, "I want that 27s Superclean car to win. Yeah, that one, the one that the yellow and red car just passed. That one, the one that the silver and white one just passed. Yep, that one, the one that the yellow car just passed." .... Brings a tear to my eyes. Besides, if I'm destined to loose, gotta look great while going down! right?

I was thinking more on the lines of the track upfront that used to be carpeting.

I might be bored a little this winter and have some free time in the evenings.

You should be able to get a RTR SC truck from AE or Losi should be releasing theirs next week for $200-240 range. Should just need a battery and charger then. Also you can go all out with a FT AE kit or HPI for around $240 range, but then you need all electronics yet. Just stop in and check it out. I'm sure there will be some used stuff out that would be less if you want to go that route.

I have a used SC10 for sale.

Hop ups include: set of Bow-tie tires, MIP ball diff, MIP cvd's, JR590 servo, carbon fiber battery strap.

Also includes the RTR stock items: set of stock SC10 tires, used custom painted body, stock AE receiver and radio (blue), used 27T motor, stock speed control and it's been setup for Victory's track.

Selling as complete package for $150.00. Brand new everything would cost about $400.

All it needs is batteries, charger and a driver. Send me a pm if interested.

Troy's stuff is well taken care of. I can hook you up with a lipo if you go this route, so just a charger would be needed.

Burm -
Didn't you hear? Once you're a part of the LEGION you can't get out. What will people say about us if we let that happen. ;-)

I will always have a rent- a-ride for you when you want to race. Might buy your old car myself to see what Vudu speed secrets you had. :-)

Come on out and race man. PM me and you will have a car.

Thomas
