Default DIRT OVAL AT RECTORS R/C RACEWAY - ALBOIN ILLINOIS!

Started rebuilding the oval this week. Been tilling, draging, tilling. Going to roll, roll roll Thursday and Friday will take the power trowl to it.

It should be back in the shape when we raced oval 15 years ago!!!!!

If possible I'll put up some pics Friday nite.

Racing starts at 11:00am. Sunday's doors open at 8:00am.

Hey Tim!!

Whats gonna be the biggest class?

B4/XXX Buggy with the conversion kits for Laye Models or the open wheel Modified bodies?

Thanks Millay

Do you need a conversion kit for this class? I guess it would be a mod class? I have a b4 I could use.

Stefan. No conversion needed.

Basically a offroad buggy with an oval body on it.

It takes about $40 bucks to make a b4 into an MDM ($30 of that being the body). I can take some pics of how you mount it if your interested.

Other than that it is pretty much like a mod buggy offroad class. You can't put any oval specific parts on the car, and must run offroad style tires and wheels.

Cheap to get into and very fun.

Can you take some pictures? I think it would be fun to run that class. How many are interested in running the MDM cars?

Thanks

Here are the pics

the nose comes with the body and u leave part of the back side of it not cut out and screw it in with the bumper

The front is a piece of lexan screwed on to were the front body mount is and a whole drilled in the center bar with the body mount in the "gap" screwed in from the bottom.

It is an Associated 6330 body mount kit, that ryan has a couple of at the track.

The back is a piece of lexan mounted to the wing mounts with Kyosho rb5 battery posts as body mounts KYOUM504

Bryce has his rb5 using the front body mount off an rt5 for the back mount, but his wing mounts are farther apart than the b4 so i cant off hand remember if they would work on a b4 KYOUM554

I saw this and thought it might work to screw into the highest shock hole on the shock tower not sure though. xray 808 Rear Body Post. XRA351330

Also in the MDM class the biggest motors u can use ar novak 7.5 or mamba 5700. No bigger than that. This is a very fun class i came down on the pract day and had a very good time. I hope to be back down there and run again.

Thanks for the pic.s and info guy's. The oval cars look like a lot of fun and is a tradition with Albion. Talked with Robbie yesterday about where to race this winter and the EDM cars look awsome. He's lookin for a B4 and I will use Stefans Losi buggy and he will run his B4.

See you guy's soon.

Little more banking, still got the pipe around the inside.

A guy with a sprint from over in the stl area said he was coming and I know of a couple more guys that will definately be there.

There will definately be a bigger crowd for this race. Hopefully we will get to actually race this time.

Order directly from McAllister Racing. They are very easy to work with and cheapest.

www.mcallisterracing.com

We got the Ransomville one, because it is the only one that comes with the nose pice. The Volusia one is not legal for this class. Either the Ransomville or Syracuse.

We have 3 in stock also.
