I think the rules posted above are wayyyy to specific and strict. Different capacity 6 cell nimh packs should be allowed, as well as different shocks in stock slash. Plus a brushed motor option should be added for us racers on a budget.

Most tracks are sticking with the 3600mah rule. I think the Stock SCT looks good and is similar to other tracks. Can you run stock Slash tires on a SC10 or does it have to be the stock tire for the specific brand?

You should have a brushed option for the other classes. A 13.5 is similar to a brushed 19t and the 17.5 is close to stock. Don't force people to run brushless if they don't have to.

The only thing I noticed was the 10th scale slider. You have stock ESC. There was a batch of ESC's that were junk and thermalled all the time. I should know mine was one of them. Victory has approved aftermarket ESC's, because if this. Mine is a first gen Novak Cyclone. I got it for $20. So that is cheap enough and shouldn't be thought of as a must have to go fast. People are selling brushed esc's for dirt cheap.

I dont make the final call but I would say that a different speed control would be fine. The only true strict rules in that class are stock motor and 3600 stick pack.

I think the modified SCT class should be anything allowed motor, battery etc and the stock class should be 3600 6-cell stick pack and Stock motor. It seems like most places around here have that rule so if new people want to come they will be able to compete and it also makes for great racing.

3600mah stick packs.

Victory allows for a different ESC in Slider. Just trying to keep things close to the same for the area.

It was talked about alot this summer about adopting the national rules for VTA. http://www.usvintagetransam.com/rules/index.html . I did not just show up with that setup. And just to make you aware there were 2 other cars that were running a 27turn stocker. We are getting it figured out just fine. Good seeing you guys again on Saturday.

I will let the other people post rules and times/days but everyone who attended felt it went very well and we were all able to negotiate everything very well. After attending I even feel happier about this coming indoor season and I hope everyone can attend.

All rules and pertinent information should be posted to our website by Saturday. http://cyclewi.com/ I don't mean to keep anyone waiting on the details but everything needs to typed and edited before a final posting. We are offering a wide variety of classes which should accomodate most everybody.

~ 1/10 Losi Sliders
~ 1/10 Pan cars (this is pending)

Thursday night ~ on-road racing
~ Stock SCT
~ 17.5/27t rubber tire touring car
~ VTA (vintage trans-am)
