Thanks for responding to this thread!! Brian will start a new thread under RC Hobby & Track in the next couple of days. I want to thank Victor for stopping by and sharing his ideas with us. We value any insight from peolple on this forum to help make this a better race venue. I will let the owner inform you on what classes will be raced, track prices, ect. Oh man looks like I might have to sell off all my offroad stuff and start with onroad. Sick of driving so far to LH and this is going to be only like 30 min from the house and I have a good friend that live just like 5 min from the track that I could leave all my stuff at if wanted.


Is there going to be anyone there this Friday after say about 9 PM, I would love to stop by and take a look.

Yep, we have been working on it long nights and we will have the track completely done tonight. Lap counting guys are coming tonight with their software, too. Tentative laps have already been put down so she is no longer a virgin.

I was there around 2pm, I know there are no one there..but I was looking at the building with number 2150, it has a big sign outside saying "YEAMAN". Is that the building I am looking at..? There is always a big board with hand writing saying warehouse for lease......when I was there, they were unloading a 30 foot BOAT and there is a fancy quarter million dollar RV parking outside...

Track looks great...I would love to do some test drive there this week.

What counting system will be using..? AMB or I-Lap..?

WILL YOU BE OFFERING AN OVAL CLASS? PAN CAR AND SPRINT CAR WOULD BE COOL! I LIVE IN THE ROCKFORD AREA AND WOULD LIKE TO RACE THERE THIS WINTER/FALL. LET US KNOW THERE ARE A HALF DOZEN RACERS OUT THIS WAY THAT RUN OVAL. JASON

Any idea what day of the weekend you guys will be racing on? I hope that you guys pick a day opposite of The Track in Winthrop Harbor so it gives everyone a chance to race at more then 1 place on a given weekend.

Should the TOWN called ELK GROVE VILLAGE instead of Oak Grove Village...? Last time i have checked the big water tower it said Elk Grove Village...

Where is the entry of the track..? I think the front is still a active office for "Yeaman"....the back (corner of the street) was where I saw they unload the boat...it is a drive in loading dock...is there a door within? Thanks..

The entrance is in the back north west corner of the building. If you drive around to the back you will see a large white trailer parked near our entrance. Solara, we just missed you, we left at about 1:00, should be there from about 5:00pm untill ?? tonight.

We will be changing our race day to Saturdays for the fall/winter season, for those that will have to travel as well as the football fanatics .

I agree with Kevin. The Track and Elk Grove should be on different days. No need to compete with each other for many of the same racers on the same days.
