Is anyone racing the 2wd buggy class? How about 4wd? I'm going to try and race this Thursday I just need to know what to bring. I pretty much can run anything except Slash. I even have a 10th scale Slider.

i'll try to make the track wetter this time. it should be a cool day for the race and not have the harsh sun. so i think the track should stay wetter longer. but i've got 3 water barrels now. i'll water before racing starts and water again before the mains. if anyone has a hi flow well pump and extra hose that would help out.

Curious about this challenge. 31 laps in 6 mins works out to be an average of 11 seconds per lap. What kind of RC turned this time? Electric, I'm guessing? Was it a monster truck?

What route on the track would the challenge require? Using the infield, or just turning some hot laps around the oval portion of the track?

It was set buy a stock traxxas slash. 11 - 13 sec range is where they are runing. all thou we did have a nitro run in the 9's but ususally 11-12 sec range, just not as many laps.

I just left the track and its ready to go. a few other racer where out there this weekend helping out and it looks great.

If anyone needs some brush to burn there is 3 piles out there for the taking. please help your self or its going to the dump.

The nitro challenge is for monster trucks. It is on the jump course [infield]
Yes a guy with a Ofna Mutilater turned a few laps in the 9 sec. range, but the stock slash class has been the most contistent and holds the record in the 6 minute main of 31 laps. This is amazing because the open stadium trucks, w/ hot brushless systems and lipo's are doing 28 laps in 6 minutes. I attribute that to more crashes and tumbles when their tires touch and cause a tumblefest. Stadium open has seen some 10 sec. laps however. There have been 2 other 1/10 2wd buggys show up, but they ran in open stadium class. They seem to be at a disadvantage due to the roughness of the track.
New this week is Open Corr trucks on the oval track. I will bring mine this thursday. Maybe we can have a class of them. I make a motion that if there are not enough mod corr trucks lets open up an oval class to the stock corr truck guys. I think more than enough of those guys wouldn't mind running a second time w/ there slash/ sc10's.
Larry.

About how many racers do you get on a Thursday night?

I run a track in Reedsburg, our racers have dropped in the past few years, but now is starting to pick up.
