North Central R/C Club On/Off Road 2009 Schedule
Hello racers,
I’d like to announce the North Central R/C Club 2009 Schedule. The club is in its third year, holding bi-weekly point’s series racing at Marshall’s R/C Park in Thorp WI.
Marshall’s R/C Park is in it’s forth year and had provided racers with improvements each year. This year we look forward to the new starting gate that drops two cars at a time one second apart and an improved watering system to only mention a few improvements.
For racers traveling from a far, reduced motel rates have been set up, special restrictions apply, see us for details.
The club web address is www .northcentralrcclub.net and track owners web address is www .marshallrc.com.
See you at the races
Make sure you check the club website’s picture gallery for a short slide show of the 08 season.

We are going to have a great turnout at the RC X-Fest this weekend in Minn. I can't wait to see if we can earn more then the five (5) trophy's we got last year.
I do worry that Brandi will beat me as usual. It is difficult to lose to a 9 year old when you are 50+. But she is a better driver.

Who We Are, NCRCC
We formed this club by racers for racers.
What does than mean?
Well several years ago there was a small group of us than raced in the Central Wisconsin area and we noticed that their was no organized racing. No point’s series, prizes, ribbons, web site or trophies. So our group formed a non-profit R/C racing club for all ages in which a set of club officials were elected to host a points series race in which all race entry fees were to be giving back to the racers.
Huh?
We'll it means that all race fees collected through the year are property of the clubs and after our expenses are paid, (operating costs, insurance) all the fees are returned to the racers in the form of prizes and give a ways. This is controlled by a voting process by our club members. The club also believes that everyone of young and old should have an opportunity to compete in a fun family friendly environment.
We strive to help out new racers at the track to ensure that they can have a good time and our seasoned racers aren’t afraid of helping out with vehicle setups and general knowledge of R/C racing.
Of course this couldn’t be done with out the beliefs of our track owner. He has built an R/C Park with a off-road, on road, boat pond and a flying field for all to enjoy that’s free of charge to use any day of the week. Check out his web site for more info. (www.Marshallrc.com.)
For you racers check out (www.northcentralrcclub.net)
Next year we’ll be racing on Saturday nights under the lights as part of the on going track improvements.
Come check us out. Next race is September 13th.
Thanks to all our members who make this possible.
