Default Chili Bowl

Uhm i know that toy cars are fun but i suggest we put off the novak race for a week and all take a trip to Tulsa for the chili bowl
www.chilibowl.com yes this was an advertising plug
As for the boards i will vote wood with maybe an oak finish if that's to over the wall then egg shell white with a hint of autumn red

Default Entry List

All,
The entry list, as it was right before Christmas, is now on the trackside website.

You can check it out as well as more news and information about the Novak Race at www.trackside.com/040111News.htm

Thanks

Hopefully that list was made before I called up Scotty on the 24th, since I'm not on it.

Thanks for the updates, can't wait to see how the New Years warm-up turns out. Anybody seen the new boards laid out yet?

Morbo demands pictures!

The boards are the same basic color as the Yellow stripe on the back wall, like the Yellow of a Yield sign. Very bright. They contrast really well with the gray carpet. Couldn't be any better!

They aren't all done yet, I don't think they will be in use until mid next week. I would think he will give the paint several days to dry.

Yup, just like a yield sign. You weren't even at the track, so I understand that you're not able to imagine the color.

Doug - Nah, I knew what you meant.

I still say they need to be HOT PINK. Nobody in thier right mind runs a HOT PINK race car, I was thinking about running yellow too! I guess not.. I'll have to go back to my good ole blue and other dark color schemes.. so sad...

I have some of the lug-nut paint out to the shop, I may have to bring that out to trackside and use it up. Think Scotty would care? ... just make sure someone can hold him back while i run!

I think the boards may be in use Friday, but I don't know for sure. Who will be the first to gouge one ? Certainly not me, I save my crashes for the track in the back (dirt).

Russ did a lot of work with Jamie (Dress Shoe) Tennies to get those boards ready.
