Checked out the clip from WIFR and I am happy to see a viable track site and enthusiastic owner moving forward. Looking forward to running there once things are up and functioning. What more can I ask for - onroad, offroad, dirt oval......I may just have to live in the parking lot.

I will be there to check this track out. Good to have a track that will be closer now. Wondering if there is any chance that you might be doing any indoor track for the winter months?

I was pondering the same question earlier today. Although I think the building would be large enough, it would depend on how much space they plan to devote to retail space. Michael, do you have any further plans that you can discuss with us?

This is the old golf and games building and from what I remember I don't think there will be enough room. Maybe 1/18 scale but we will see I guess. The main lobby in that building is only like 30 x 30

That may be true, it's been a while since I've been there.

Was just wondering what the practice fees would be when you guys start having the place open for practice. I kinda heard a nasty rumor from the local hobby store about what they heard was going to be the price, and I said thats to much per hour. i couldn't hardly get a couple runs and recharge batts. in an hour for that price. I sure hope they have a dirt oval, I have a sprinter and a TC with latemodel body on it or am thinking of buying a COT body and fitting it to the touring car.

It would be awesome to see a track start and prosper in Rockford!

I hope this works and they have a lap/scoring system that lets people use the AMB transponders!

I was there about two weeks ago, didn't see any tracks I think I saw where one is going to be but it wasn't there when I was. If their shooting for May 1 they have alot of work ahead of them. But like I said it was a few weeks ago.
