NEW TRACK IN LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL
#76
Thanks solara. At this point, the culprit appears to be the rear dual exhaust pipe, not providing enough pressure to the fuel tank

Anymore news on this track yet ?

I might swing by there tomorrow and see how it is. Not really that far from me.

quick question...semantics really......:
Is a place really a "track" if there's no racing being held there?
Isn't it really just a bash spot?

This thread has gotten a lot of traction because the word "track" is in the subject.
The WI/IL topic really is about "all things racing". If we wait long enough this thread will disappear off page 1 soon enough. Like the place in Rockford that the "owner" boasts about opening a new place, doesn't answer any direct questions then disappears from rctech. His post is buried now.

I don't see any racing happening there soon either. There is no structure in place to get it going that I can see.
Its a convenient track (or place) close to home where one can get away for a couple hours to practice, do laps and improve driving skills. Maybe thats all it will ever be, who knows.
