There were 6 Mod electric trucks, although one blew up in pactice. I don't think there were any 1/10 gas tracks. The largest classes were 1/8 gas buggy and 1/10 Mod electric buggy, both with 2 good heats.

Mod Truck is open to ANY brushless or brushed motor, and any 7.2v sub-c or 7.4v lipo. Not sure about the a123, but I don't think there would be a problem running it.
Racing started around 1 pm, and finished up sometime around 6 pm I think.

Are you guys still running on the 20th? What kind of tires does a guy need to come have some fun in the sun?

I like red Ifmar Pins with Trinity firm (white) foams for the rear, and the stock B4 ribbed tires up front. This combo will work well with whatever the track conditions are, either wet or some of the drier spots on the track.
Same for truck, Ifmar pins rear and Edges up front.

With that said, there actually are a whole bunch of tires that will work. Some guys like to run Holeshots or DD's when its a little drier/hard, and a Step Pin/Ifmar Stud/Goosebump if its a little wet/soft.

No need to bring a whole tire arsenal though, If you've got any of the above, you'll be O.K., but if you need to buy something, I'd go with the red Ifmar Pins
