Attention road racers: on saturday april 15th we are planning a special mini enduro event for vta and gt racers. The idea is to have a combined sportscar imsa style event with mixed classes running simultaneously. The basis is to have 5 vta cars along with 5 usgt cars (25.5/21.5 motors respectively) in a two man team timed 30 minute event. You choose your teammate and together you share a chassis on a class of your choosing. Registration will be open on a first come first serve basis the day of racing with a total of 10 cars/20 drivers. There will be a timed pit stop between the 10-20 minute window at which point a driver change must take place. Each driver must run a minimum of 10 minutes so use your pit stop as a strategy. Standard usvta/usgt rules are in effect for this event.
Winners will be determined based on their respective class at the end of the 30 minute feature.
Qualifying order will be by random computer sort but will be separated by class with a staggered start. Usgt based cars in the front of the field with vta cars in the rear.
This will be a non points oriented club race so show proper etiquette while passing slower vehicles and be respectful of all competitors. Most importantly have fun as this is just an exhibition race.
Start planning your team and class in which you will run in.
Further details to be announced day of event.
If there are any questions please feel free to post them here. See you on the 15th!

It's been a while since we've posted some fresh news, & we know that drivers have been waiting for news of the Fun Run and Trophy handout race for the 2016 season. Well, wait no more! We'll be running the Fun Run in Mid May, Rumor has it that Kyle will be bringing his famous Chili to the show once again. Hopefully this year, he'll get a bowl, lol.
2017 is right around the corner, and we'll be bringing news on the series in the next week or so. Until then, if you haven't already, dust them off, and get them ready for another intense season of racing among friends. There have been some new faces this year, and we hope to see more.
2017 is also looking very good, and there are Major improvements already in place at the track. The new CRC "Black" carpet is now in place, as well as the fantastic Livetime system brought to you by Hobbytown and LiveRC. You will now have tons of telemetry and documentation on your runs, and will also be able to watch your race immediately after via a download directly to Youtube. Racers that cannot make it, can also watch the action live from home in case they can't make it to the track, for absolutely no reason at all, lol.
So, with that being said, we look forward to bringing you the 2017 season starting with the Invitational in May. It'll provide for a great warmup day, as well as some killer racing.

Here it is, what everybody has been waiting for! The 2017 FORMULA R/C season schedule. This will be our 6th year of the program, and we thank all that have participated so far. This year, we will once again be running at the Hobbytown Oshkosh facility, and it will be even SWEETER with the new CRC Black carpet in place!
As most have already seen, we'll be kicking off the season with the Carpet Invitational and 2016 Season Trophy race on May 20th. We hope to see all of our friends from last year, as well as some new faces.
There are some concerns about what classes we'll be running, and to this point, we'll be sticking with our former seasons classes. However, there will be discussion on the 20th, pending turnout of one specific class that is in jeopardy of being dropped, This may or may not open up an opportunity for a new class to take it's place, pending said discussion. So, make sure that you show up to race on the 20th so that we can hash things out.
Revised rules will be coming soon, so please keep an eye out for those as well.
Again, thanks for your continued support, and we look forward to providing you with a great upcoming season of racing.
