thanks you guys.

yeah it is at my house. I guess it could be a real 'store' if I had a cash register, lol

I made it because I like the RC and had a nice spot and friends to help me.

Thanks for that comment.

Its nice becuase I live at the bottom of a hill, and the soil there is all very nice. Silty, brown, peatmossy-kinda brown dirt.
I mean its glacial till and all, so theres rocks here and there, but we just rake and sweep and it stays pretty good surface wise. Loose, but sticky when its watered.
here are some more pics from the other night.

So Pete, are you holding regular races now or is the Corral still "Wisconsin's Greatest Backyard Track"?

I dont have anything organized, although Brian Sakowski has taken over running RC Scoring Pro for me.

I guess, we just drink beer and bash for the most part. If there were 3 or 4 dudes that wated to race, and had transponders, we could throw it down.

Do I smell a new "Nitro Farm" in the making???? Looks like a nice place to race. Do you have complaining neighbors?

I heard that the nitro farm was closing/ or has closed? Im not sure, I have never actually been there.

I do have a neighbor, but he doesnt complain. He actually comes over to watch and sometimes he'll turn a few laps if he's in the mood.
Other than that, the track is well hidden, and the sound doesnt carry that much.

I'v never actually had a complaint really now that I think about it. I've had up to 15 or 20 dudes over at a time. and no on has said anything.

Mike, is there any other racing going on during the week? When I've tried to have people over in the past, they would say "aww man, on tuesdays i race at rockpile" or "naw that when they race at oshkosh" or whatever. is there a local off road track that has a wednesday gathering?

Default RC CORRAL

THIS IS DEFINTELY THE BEST TRACK I HAVE I EVER BEEN TO.
DON'T BE A SOCIAL RETARD BRING SOMETHING TO SHARE (SNACKS, FOOD TO GRILL, BEVERAGE OR BETTER YET, ALL THE ABOVE. IF NOT THAT, THEN AT LEAST DONATE SOME MONEY. IF YOU DON'T HAVE A CAR LET PETE KNOW AND SOMEONE WILL SURELY LET YOU USE THEIRS.

man, the track is destroyed.

we're surveying the damage, and it appears that, without the aid of a skid loader or something, that we have a lot of work to do before hte track is even traversable again.

I suspect that we lost about 6" of topsoil revealing tons of rocks.

the only dudes that might wanna come and EVEN try it are those of you with revos, tmaxx emaxx etc...

man this is depressing.

anyone that wants to vist and help pick up/repair stuff, is more than welcome to drive laps when its fixed.
thanks,
Pete

ok we did some raking tonight, and it seems like it will be ok for wednesday night.
one section is totally brutal, but another 3 dudes with rakes, and that's solved.
PM or post here if your down.

more track racing= more rut shreddage = fixed faster.

so its on.
