Default Victory R/C Hobbies, Green Bay, WI.

Thought we needed an up-to-date thread.

Victory Hobbies hosts Dirt Oval on a high-banked indoor clay tri-oval on Tuesday nights and carpet road course and oval racing on Thursday nights. In the summer we move the dirt oval racing outside to a 235' nitro-electric clay dirt oval.

Prostar, Green Bay's long running R/C racing club operates their weekly show at Victory R/C Hobbies on Wednesday nights through the winter months.

Thanks to everyone for making our first two years in Green Bay a great success!

Call us at 920.884.7300 or toll free 886.231.4933. See us on the web at www.victoryhobbies.com

Thanks! Brian

Well Thursdays work great for me, Wed just don;t work for me anymore. How where you going to work the nights, for example: 1-2 stock rubber and the rest trans am (1,2,4,5, etc), would you run them all together, I am pretty much asking if you would run 4 cell touring car with trans am cars if the numbers are not to high on a given night. I just know that on night there will be group of touring cars less trans am, and the next week could be 10 trans am cars, and one or none touring cars. I guess I am just not ready to spend the 80-100 to convert a car to run a "vintage class" again. I got a nirto truck for the dirt oval so I might not even have to worry. How where you guys setting them up last year? Was any one running late model bodies on them? I just can't stand them edm bodies.

I don't think we would run Stock/Brushless rubber touring with the Vintage Trans Am class as they would have a large speed difference 4-cell vs 6-cell and the different tires. There has been two heats of touring on Wednesday nights and we should see at least some of those racers come out on Thursdays. (I'm hoping we can get some of the other touring racers to start making the trip again... Pointer guys, you out there??)

Here is the way classes look for Thursday nights:

Road Course:
Vintage Trans Am
Stock 27 / Brushless Touring
12th scale Stock

Oval:
Nascar Touring 10.5/19-turn
Legends
Stampedes
13.5 or 17.5 Brushless

Thanks, Brian

whats the good word on the summer oval? Getting sick of winter! Is the track getting reworked with some banking or is it going to stay how it was? How where people setting up them gas trucks last year?

Stampedes will use Prostar rules. Basically a stock Stampede truck using the stock chassis, tires, motor, etc.

Starts March 20th!

Thanks! Brian

Has some Legends and Touring Car practice going last night.

Tonight is Dirt Oval... gave the track a good soaking last night so it should be in great shape for racing tonight!

Later! Brian

just wondering how many of you are going to run the Trans Am or touring. I would love to run sedan, The Trans AM sounds great but All my 4cell packs are gonna be for legends.

I will do touring car when I can make it out, I'm not racing right now bacause my wife is working wed. so I need to babysit. But thursday will work great. I am not willing to run trans am unless a good crowd of it starts. I'm not ready to spend the $70-$80 or what ever it is to get the right body and tires for may be nothing.
