Just my opinion... and not bashing by any means but maybe for next year you could offer a class of touring car that is most commonly raced in WI and Ill. That would be 13.5 / rubber tire. The main touring car tracks in the area are... Trackside in Milwaukee.... Hobby Town Oshkosh and The Track in Ill and add in the All Star Series, all run the 13.5 / rubber tire format.
I am sure you could get racers from all three tracks if you offered this class and found a date that didnt conflict with a major race, a series race or the Tamiya race.
I would love to race the Cheeseland again

I agree with your 13.5 opinion. I bought the 13.5 thinking that's what everyone would run at Prostar, but now it's the 17.5. I really don't want to buy another motor. I might sit out the cheeseland too. Maybe I'll get the ole 1/12 out for some fun.

Troy, don't fret.. I plan on running the Cheeseland if I don't go snowmobiling. It's not that hard to put a brushed motor in. Thanks OTTO for advice, always appeciated. Now if only I could get Geoff to make a showing??? Christ, wouldn't be right, 5 years I raced the cheeseland and the tc3 needs to feel the carpet sometime this year!

That's the other thing; snowmobiling!! You gotta ride when the snows available. I've been going every weekend for the last month. I got more miles on this year than the last two years. YAHooOOOo!

I'm still up in the air, funds are low right now because I'm not working much. I am racing tommarow and if I sell some e-bay stuff I might come on sat.

Troy,
I'll bring the 13.5 as well as the 17.5. I'll runnum both. I'll have the 1/12 as well. Clete will have a 13.5, so you'll in all probability have cars to race with.
Don't know if you've noticed, but for the most part, I've been running the 17.5 on Wed nights. We could probably run them all together. It's to bad the counting software can't track different motor/battery classes running in the same races as some of the full scale races do. ( Pat checked with the coder and the program won't do that. He thought it an interesting idea. Perhaps in the future?)

At pro-star racing we always try to find some way for everyone to race and have a good time. Yes it seems like we are the last ones to change things like going from 6 cell to 4 cell in the pancar class or from brushed motor to brushless. We had a couple drivers that were not ready to buy a brushless system yet or they just dont have the money to buy one right now but we always found a class for them to run. there are so many classes and so few racers left sometimes its hard to get some classes going. Pro star has been around for a long time over 20 years maybe closer to 30 years Clete might know that answer he has been there since I Started racing. This is oldest rc club that I know of lets keep it going and have fun racing.
