Default 1/28 Racing in Madison - Indoor All Year Round

I started back racing in March. From a racing point of view, 1/10th scale road course 20+ years ago is not that different than mini-z racing. Summer racing on Friday nights has been a blast to say the least. Last Friday three of our classes had two heats - F1, 10t Stock and 12t with bump-ups. Some classes elected to race 8 minute mains. More race time seemed to be a win win for all. It's turning out to be a great summer. I hope this keeps up.

Yes, but not the one and only. There are three of us Myles's now. I'm working on getting the grand kids to race. Having a blast. How are you doing.

I think i'm getting back into racing at the right time. The 1/28 cars coming out now are just... fun to drive. I can't lie, it does help if your retired and able to put in more practice time.

Update - Now that i'm getting up to speed from getting back into racing, the 1/28th scale setup has all the same tuning options as 1/10 scale except without the shock oil. Damping with 3k to 30k grease is the new shock oil. Once you find the correct shims and springs; adjust your steering and throtle exp to tame the beast. That's 1/28 in a nutshell.
