I wound up taking the day off work tomorrow as we're a bit slow, what time does practice start? I don't have a car as of yet, just hoping to see what it's all about. I race 1/10th on road and was always interested in these.

Awesome! Tomorrow is a good day to stop by. Friday nights are typically a little quieter and less hectic since there's not as many drivers and it's just practice.
The plan is to try to get the track up earlier but 7pm is a safe bet. You're certainly more than welcome to show up earlier and hang out though.

my backup car is available if you want to try the stock class. Pretty sure we could find spare transponder/battery. No Friday night this week, but racing again Sunday

Kyosho has or had a really cheap version. Toyota body I think. Form everything I’ve seen it’s a skip it. Basic one you drove is around $130. There’s a Nissan body also.

Yeah I finally was able to come up with information on it. No diff, non proportional steering, no suspension to speak of.

I'll more than likely be building up a GL chassis since I'd really like to be able to use my futaba radio.
