Default VICTORY R/C HOBBIES IN GREEN BAY

Victory R/C is coming to the North West side of Green Bay

Victory R/C will be racing both Carpet On Road and Oval racing on there 80'
by 36' CRC rubber backed ozite racing surface. There will also be Off-Road racing on a 55'x35' indoor dirt track. Both tracks will have AMBrc Scoring and house transponders will be available for those who do not have personal transponders.

A building has been purchased with approx. 15,000 sq ft dedicated to these two indoor race tracks, and a fully stocked Hobbyshop. There is plenty of parking for everyone. Some future plans include a large out door off-road area and possibly a outdoor road course.

Construction begins this week and plans are to be carpet racing ASAP.
The work for the Off-Road track is to begin after the
completion of the Carpet Area.

Stay tuned for more updates as the Grand Opening gets closer

Construction (destruction) started last night. Made good progress

The Blue print area for the Off-Road track is tentitive. if things work out it
could be stretched another 60'. so it could get as big as 35'x 115'.

This is why we are only working on one section of the building as of now. We will evaluate the off-road requirments as the time comes

I know some people know where it is already. It's the old Total rental building on north military. We are asking people not stop in yet because of the construction. Web-site is in also in progress. I do not have the WWW. """.com yet becasue I don't know it. I would post a PDF of the blue print but as things get tweaked here and there I don't want to create the

"what happened to this?" "I thought there was going to be"

But here is a couple of photos of the demolition of the Carpet area. these picture were for my use and not for "Hey look at this area" but can say about the carpet area is it will have a totally clear view of the track "no posts"

I will let you guys see more as time progresses.

Please don't be offended that we are asking you not to stop by at this time

Phase I of demolition is almost complete.

Hopefully will start framing up hobbyshop between today and wednesday. So far so good things have progressed a bit faster than we hoped. Transponder system has arrived and expecting carpet to show up in next few days.

We haven't totally decided but it sounds like either tuesday or thursday. Prob edging more toward tuesday because oshkosh races on thursday. But I heard they moved to friday. Haven't been to Oshkosh since the oval racing stopped. nothing is locked in yet to busy banging nails but are going to work around other tracks schedules as much as possible. sounds like saturday racing will be oval and road coaurse flipping evey other weekend.

will keep you informed

like I said it's to early to lock it down, We still pounding nails getting ready for the carpet to show up and get walls for the track built. we will try and work around other tracks schedules the best we can. But may end up on the same day as others.

But NO SCHEDULE HAS BEEN SET YET.

Just came back from the hobby shop.

Phase 1 demolintion was finished yesterday.

Phase 1 construction has been taken place and is moving along really nicely
areas are framed and drywall and electrical installation as been started.

Tile from the floor is being cleared today for the carpet to be layed out prob early next week. so far the floor looks wonderful no raises or bumps in the areas I saw, so carpet should be flat and fast. The 30'ft long driverstand construction should start in the next day or to along with track walls.

I would have taken pictures but forgot my camera at home

yEA, tile removal is a slow tedious process but was surprised on the quality of the floors finish. At least the boss gave my off tom. Also if anyone out there is a drywaller, I give you a big word up. That's some heavy stuff!!!
