I started talking to my buddy who works with various contractors. He might be able to get us a hook up on dirt but we'll have to figure out timing to see what job he could get it from.

Sounds good keep us posted. And also my girlfriend knows someone that works for the village and I told her to ask about a good local source for clay and to also ask if they have any unwanted corrugated pipe.

Sounds great any help would be appreciated. And if you or your friends know a good local source for clay let me know. I'm thinking the way it going to go down is we will get one truck load at a time and do the track in sections so we don't get over whelmed cause we will be spreading with wheel barrels and shovels. Unless someone has a better method or idea.

Unless we find a deal on a dump truck full or something, I'd agree

Can we use dirt base clay or do we need straight up red clay?

Edit: only asking cause there is 80ton of free dirt base clay in willow springs.

So my plan to date is I'll bring a pickup truck full of that free clay base dirt at the end of April beginning of May. I'll give a weeks notice. And if anyone wants to show up just bring your rc and a shovel if you have one. And if things go well I'll keep bringing dirt in pick up truck once a weekend or every other. My truck is a 2wd f150 so I won't be able to haul a lot at a time but it will be a start.

I'm still in as is my brother-in-law. He's also looking around for some free dirt. Just post up here with some notice as you said and we'll do our best to show up and help!

Yeah I was planning the 19th or 20th but I called the place in willow springs with dirt and talked with Jason and he said it's by appointment only and early mornings Monday through Friday. My work schedule makes that impossible. So if anybody knows a place that I can pick up on a Saturday I will look into it.
