NEW TRINITY SITE

Hi,
My name is Steven. I'm the new graphics guy here at TRINITY. I just recently launched the new website which still under minior construction though. It will have new features like newsletters and contests! It will be updated just about everyday. If anyone has any suggestions or ideas for the site.... please reply to this thread...

thats a really cool layout compared to the other one great job

What browsers did you test that with? Also, you get points for not having one those stupid logo pages that I have to "click to enter". That scrolling text is the only thing I would ditch.

one thing I noticed the site is missing is the listings for Trinity tools.

Hey,
So far this is the forum that gave the most posts in one day!
To answer some of your comments or questions:

• First off, thanks for your comments!

• Although I am the creater of the site, I am still under orders on what has to be done to the site and what stays, so the scroll on the bottom will be there for a while.

• The "Tools" section of the site will be available soon. New picctures have to be taken of every item that we have. I'm hoping to get that up within the week.

Like i said before, the site is still under some construction so please bear with me. I was in a hurry to ditch the site we had before....

Thanks again....

It really looks good. Much better than the old site and much easier to use.

Way more user friendly!

There are still many key things missing from the site that would make it MUCH more user-friendly for the people who purchase products....

1. Manuals for car kits, most every other manufacturer makes their kits instruction books available via PDF, if you can't go that far atleast a complete parts list with exploded view would be VERY helpful

2. Instructions, exploded views and parts lists for all the nitro motors, I am in need of a part for a Pixi Black and can't find the part number for the life of me, so I have sent an email into Trinity....

3. Why are all the pages graphics??? It makes using info from your site impossible since you have to rekey it, when certain pages would obviously be more useful as plain text....

I understand the new site is a work in progress and honestly number 1 and 2 were beefs with the previous site, but would make the new site MUCH more user-friendly...

This reason for this is the same reason McMoney Designs website is this way.......................

They are Graphic Designers

TigeRyan 09-01-2005 08:24 PM

And not web designers, two totally different skill sets....sometimes people have both, but not always....
