content content content. you have to keep on top of things, keep them up to date. thats what people want. things that are not exactly the same as last time they visited.

recently i have sumwhat neglected my older site www.texr.co.uk as i am working ona new one uk-rc.net. (traffic for texr.co.uk plumited)

as this site has only just started up there is not alot of content, that will change in time. :)

i noticed there is no where people can leave feedback, how do you know what people think about it?? apart from the feedback on this forum..

how about a message board/forum or even just a comments page......

If you would look closely there is a guestbook and a type of forum. Alot content is good if that is what your going for. Everyone makes a website for different reasons and things.

I know how to do html.
But they alredy answered your question.
Here is a little animation you can use.
Im not sure if it transperent or not. ( incase you dont know that means like that there is no backgroud on the picture so it takes up whatever background color you have.)

Dirtfreak15-
That rocks! It'll get there! Where did you find that?

Dirtfreak15 12-16-2004 05:13 PM

I dont remember it has been in my documants for like a year!!!

rocknbil 12-20-2004 09:08 AM

RedZ if you don't know the origin of the animation it may very well be in copyright violation. You may never get caught, but you might. It's important to know the origin of all material you put on your site and whether or not you have permission to use it.

That animation has been floating around the internet for years. I get what you are saying though. I have seen it myself for free to download on serveral websites. If there is no water mark then you won't be able to tell very easy.

Ok, I've been trying to keep my site updated. I have animations and what I think is some pretty good content. Does anyone have any suggestions? Likes, dislikes (nicely though :D), or whatever kind of constructive criticizm you might have?

Dirtfreak15 01-03-2005 03:07 PM

I think it lookes good.
Did you put that animation somewhere?
and, You dont have to but i have a problem with your background. i mean where the heck did you come up with that color? Cant you make it black or grey?
You dont have to, it was just a thout.
I like everything else.:D

Red Z 01-03-2005 09:34 PM

I put the animation on the tracks page i think. I will see what I can do about the Background Color.

Dirtfreak15 01-04-2005 03:19 PM

looks good. but its not moving, but i think it is just something on my pc.

yea just make you background <body bgcolor="000000">
and then put in <font color="#ffffff"> and you should make it bold if you do it. it helps to read it.
i take web desighn classes in my high school and have my own pc at home.

Black & white are not always good pallete to work with. Colors are a great choice, use some colors you feel comfortable with. Also use something that is easy on the eyes. Monitors are hard on your eyes and something so bright isn't so good either. If you need anymore help with your site let me know.

For personal sites i like to use strong colors, like one of my sites has a black background and bold red text.
For buissness sites if i do one for sombody i make it have a white background with lack text. My web design teacher said that thay had studies that if the backround is bright the buyer is more attrackted to the product or somthing like that.
so he likes white and i like black so if im doing an asiignment i use grey and get away with it!
I dont really care i was just sujestion somthing.

Wicked-Wayz 01-04-2005 07:18 PM

I know what you are saying, I know it was a suggestion. Buyers are prone to buy something off a website that catches their eye. I don't mean big flashy animations and stuff like that. Alot of high profit websites are not even white backgrounded. It always depends on the person no matter what. What he basically has is a race team website, which would be a business in ways. To me anything different than the background now will do.

Peace Aaron

Dirtfreak15 01-04-2005 09:09 PM

Ok i guess i can agree on that with you.
so make it like black and red, that looks cool
