Default rc off road simulator "no subscription"

I'm looking for a off road racing simulator that I don't have to pay a subscription fee. Is there a such thing for off road rc? I know of flight simulators but didn't know about rc cars.

Please let me know.

Thanks

That's what I'm wondering. Is VRC worth it? Its the only rc car sim I've seen. Before I invest the money I want to review my options.

It is as long as you have a good computer with a DEDICATED graphics card. And runs a 60 FPS.

I ended up building my own desktop, never built one in my life. Works great. U can see more on that a few threads down from this one.

Definately worth it for a very small investment in the scheme of things.

I sign up mid december find it a very usefull tool for practice, learning setup changes etc, but man Im hanging out for the release of the 1/8 buggy offroad which is the class i race for real.
Easiest thing to do is try the free trial, cost zip and you can try it first hand for your self.
If you do decide to trial it make sure you spend a bit of time seting up your transmitter and car as the base setup car is a pig to drive (talking offraod) and Ive noticed a few put off by this not knowing the capibilitys of the changes in this simulator. You are limmited on changes on the trial pack but theres enough to make a big difference to how it responds.
Good luck in your choice.

Is vrc pro worth it..... Lol. Ten bux/ month is a fricken BARGAIN for the amount of wheel time you can get with vrc. It costs me $15 just to put my car on carpet for 25 minutes of racing in a night.
For every 25 minutes real racing there is 8-10 hours of vrc practice behind it which all adds up to invaluble wheel time. Translates well to my real racing as i do better, smoother and more consistant laps as a result. Every time i go out.
I dont like having to pay for tracks. But meh. Considering the thousands spent on gear, $150/ year? Not a big deal. I spent more than that on something stupid like coffee.

I echo everyone's sentiment here. VRC has helped me be a more consistent driver simply be cause of the repetition and accessibility to a "track" everyday. Definitely recommend it if you want to get serious about competitive RC.

VRC also gives you most of the car's tuning options to experiment without the need to turn a hex driver
