Default 1990ish RC10

Hey guys, I have a 1990ish rc10 and I'm in the process of rebuilding the car. Do you know if my car is the same as the RC10 Classic or RC10 World car? The reason I am asking is because the front shocks are different in size between the two. I am rebuilding the car with new fresh parts and the shock size are whats throwing me off. Don't know if I need .56 or .71.

Here's a picture

rere worlds parts will fit that just fine.

If you want an update get the V2 .71's in the front. Threaded shock bodies are so much easier.

Also keep those turnbuckles close to your heart, they've been going for a pretty penny online. Honestly take them off and get a set of the "Lunsford retros", they're like $30 on A Main

Good to know about the turnbuckles. I have a set sitting on a World's car I'm working on.

You can use .56's but you'll want to use the lower mount holes on your shock tower.

And yeah, I've wanted a set of those turnbuckles for a while but I ended up with like 6 sets of the JC Fins, and I couple of the Lunsfords

The turnbuckles are Technacraft, to me some of the coolest one you could strap on a car back in the day

If you're not out trying to win the worlds every weekend and you wanna goto the track and have fun with a cool ass old car I love my Tekin RS Gen 2 Spec and Eco power 17.5

The motor is only available from A Main but it's like 50-60 bucks. Used Tekin Specs are like 70 on here all the time. Huge bang for the buck IMO.

I know 20 people could come one here and you'll get 20 different answers but that combo is my fav right now.

I have a laundry list of ESC's and motors sitting in boxes right now cause I like this combo better and you can't beat the price....and you really cant beat the size of the ESC....not that fitment is an issue in these tanks

Went ahead and took your advice. Should get it next week!

EDIT: Just remembered, I need a servo as well. Any recommendations? Looking to keep it under $100 if possible.

I was given a servo by a friend. Futaba S3004 Opinions? Use it or save it for a rainy day?

No doubt on the turnbuckles, funny gave my set away years ago, thinking they were terrible.
