Can anyone ID this vintage Funny Car Roller
#1

Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone can tell me the maker of this vintage funny car roller? I have searched the net but I haven't found anything with a perforated composite chassis like this. I am just new to this forum but I have been around RC cars for a long time and this has me beat at what it could be. It looks too well made to be hand done but who knows.

I thought it might be an early version of a Dragmaster Funny car (looking at the motor pod) or a early version of a Grand Motorsport Funny car but that perforated composite chassis plate is doing my head in.
When I found this for sale just recently I thought I would buy it, find out the manufacturer, restore it and give it a run every now and again but working out who made it is harder than I first thought.
