Default Who is into vintage RC10GT stuff?

Anyone into the 1st generation GT?

I keep telling myself that I am going to build a perfect one since I have nearly everything to do it. Also been pondering the idea of building a GT with graphite chassis since I have one. That one would be a "mod" truck.

Third on my list is to build another mod GT out of my NIB Factory Team kit.

I still rock the og white gt kit.

You can find original unpainted bodies online and even prepainted box art bodies.

The white arms are becoming very hard to find. I think because vintage stadium truck is becoming more popular.

Keep your eyes on local craigslist ads because they are the most undervalued vintage associated kits in my opinion.

Finding a NOS kit is fairly hard. However, I do see them pop up on ebay every once in a while. If you are wanting a NOS kit then get ready to spend a lot of money.

I occasionally think about selling a lot of my GT stuff but I have a hard time doing it.

If you end up restoring one let me know. I have some new spares I could possibly part with.

I don't think new GT's are that expensive new in the box compared to a lot of other cars. The last new one went for $350 on eBay. The issue is, no one wants these gas trucks anymore. Clean rolling chassis' usually sell for around $100, most people would rather convert them to electric just to keep them going.

Bought an rc10gt tub chassis, white parts, new back in the day with a dynamite tnt engine. My buddy spent a little more and go the OS engine. His always ran much better. May have been due to me losing the air filter once. haha.. It sat on a shelf for a decade or more. I then upgraded it to a blue chassis and started racing it. Got hooked up with some crescenzi racing parts (moss the gt forums!), then finally upgraded to a gt2. That truck was amazing.

I'm no longer into nitro, but still race ae T4's. I love the old school vehicles. They still compete at the club level, parts support is great, and they fit the budget!

RC10GT.. Thanks for brining up the memory

man, i wish people still ran this truck. I still have mine with an experimental A-Main chassis (double-deck). Problem is, the thing would absolutely munch spur gears. I had to have one for every weekend of racing!

Still my favourite class. I was damn successful with this old truck of mine. I'm working on resurrecting mine with new rear bearings and 2.4 Radio. Nitro stadium 'till the end!

It would be cool to be able to race mine as well. Moved on to electric when it got cheaper to race and haven't looked back.

If anyone is looking for a factory team (blue chassis) with a OS .12 cvr I do need to get rid of it. Pm me and I can send pics.
