That's a very cool pic! Wish I had some pics of me and my Hornet when I was around 10 years old. Same color scheme, loved that car.

If there was ONE vintage RC car I could have, it would be that one. I used to drool over the pics of the Land Jump Integra in the Tower catalogs. Still remember it was like $239, so expensive back then! ha

Truly a moment in time.

I was 12 about christmas 1984 , and got a Grasshopper.

A good friend got a Hornet.

We were neighborhood Gods back then, the other kids and adults had never seen any toy car go so fast.

Then , we made it to a local hobby shop/track, it was all racing from then on.

I wish I had some pics.

Couple of my RC10s. Bought the graphite back in 1990 and still have the box, instruction manual and receipt. At one point it was essentially a Worlds car with a graphite chassis, but I turned it back to stock specs last year.

And here's a pic of my Super Champ. Given to me by a son of my mom's friend 25 years ago. When I received the car it was missing the body, wheels and some front suspension pieces. Sat in that condition for several years until eBay came along.
