Tamiya TA05 V1 Hop-Ups Sourcing

So I finally got around to setting up a hand-me-down TA05 V1 from my cousin. Car is pretty much bone-stock as if it was just built in '06 (except for a 2.4 receiver to replace the existing AM one).
I've been doing a little browsing trying to find some hop-ups and just general parts for it but of course since the platform is pretty much old enough to go to uni I've been having a little difficulty finding parts since it seems everything is discontinued.

TL;DR, anyone have any suggestions where I could find hop-up parts for sale (and in stock)? Or, what parts from other Tamiya models are generally cross-compatible (or just universal) with the TA05 platform? I have a copy of the "Tamiya R/C Parts Matching List" PDF but the TA05 V1 isn't included on so I'm hoping some of you who are infinitely more experienced/knowledgable could give me some pointers.

Caution with Birger.. new user single post. If he asks you to email some one or friend. It’s a scam.
